You make me crazy

Today was a great day, for both the troublemakers are not present.

I seriously pity those who live their lives feeling inadequate until they have to tell stories about others, even making up stories as they go along. And how 'lucky' for those who get caught at their first try. Even if you're younger than others, that is not an excuse. You should just go and live with the fairies and gnomes if you really have 'fantasies'.

One made up stories having a guy fancy her, and that she does not like him at all. But why do we see the girl all giggly and playing with her hair in plain view of the guy? The girl even put the blame on me when she was caught playing favorite game on the guy. And when the guy was asked if he is interested in the said girl, he is truly shocked and disagreed. So girl, who's fancying who actually? Don't make yourself a sad case, please.
To the guy, sorry I had a bad impression of you young fella. My bad. I should have learn more about you before making second guesses. Bad sister-figure I am :p Nice knowing you, let's have a great time working together.

The other girl was super friendly with everyone when she started, even more so with the guys. Then she told someone that the guys are all after her..touching her all the time, bla bla bla. Who's touching who? What are you intending to start here? Why, the kids these days are so 'creative' that they are so imaginative. Or are they seeing things in their head? Should I send them to get professional opinion?

Now I'm so happy I let this out :)

Truly satisfied!

TGIF

Thank God it's Friday?

I didn't even realize today's Friday. I don't even put names to the other days anymore. I only take note of my rest day. And I spent it at home, sleeping. Very unlike me, tsk tsk..

Last Sunday I was the first one to arrive at work, and as I headed upstairs to the office I heard something moving and some hissing sound coming from the fuse box (not the small one, this one is big). I am one to think of the worst things that can happen to me..haha. So I was eyeing my bag all the time when I was up there, thinking that the fuse box is going to start a fire or something :p Then other people started to come and I was a bit calm. Later in the afternoon, the stairs had this funny smell and we just assumed that it was a rat that died in the fuse box.
Come Tuesday, we couldn't quite stand the smell anymore (after scrubbing the stairs from top to bottom) and called around to get people to remove the carcass of the rat or whatever was in there. No one wanted to do it.
Then our neighbor called the authority and got a response. It was on my rest day..Thank God. Wanna know what they found in the fuse box? It was a python that died in there..and it was a big one. That made me scared even more. What if it didn't hide in the fuse box and went upstairs when I was in the office alone?
Then one of the crew just HAD to show me the image of the python..now every time I went upstairs and smell the yucky smell, I get goosebumps all over.

tough time

A couple of days ago, I read somewhere (forgot already) about Giuliana's condition. She's trying to get pregnant through IVF and they discovered that she has breast cancer.

I know how devastating that can be - mom was sick before, and even when I was there to help..it was nowhere near easy. I was thankful that I was able to stay at home during the difficult time - but now that I've grown a few years older, I realize that I was too young then. I helped a little around the house, and now I wish that I could have been a bigger help to mom emotionally.

It's been a few years, and I'm praying that we'll never have to go through that painful period again.

Giuliana and Bill is my favorite couple - they have fun together even if they're so busy with work and have to spend a lot of time apart, but the most important thing is they put family as priority. I hope I can have that someday.

She is just so brave to reveal her battle with cancer at this time. I hope she will have a speedy recovery and that they get all the cancerous cells completely out of her body.

A reminder: go get yourself checked girls.

the end

I remembered talking to my mom just a couple of days ago about all these tragedies that happened, after reading the newspaper. And that was after I read about a guy in Ipoh who was slashed to death outside his house by an old man. There were several other disturbing news, but that one was etched in my mind.

No matter how I look at it, we are living in a very dangerous world. Shouldn't everyone be alarmed at the rate of crime committed these days? How can we walk outside our house without thinking someone out there could harm us from now on?

I recalled years ago there was news about a mentally ill guy who got on a bus and slashed people on board. That got me thinking - what if a family member rides a bus (or any public transport for that matter) and encounter that?

Okay, there's that.

Then there's people who don't seem to care about others in need AT ALL.

Have you read or seen the news about this little 2 year old girl in China who was ran over by vehicles? The driver of the van who ran her down could be forgiven if  he/she just stop and see what they've just knocked down. But no. And the passersby couldn't care less - they just looked at her like she's some doll lying on the road. Then came another one than ran over her again, before being discovered by a lady. How could they do this to the little kid? We watched the video on the 9 o'clock news and were appalled by what we can see. Poor little girl.
Before
After
This should tell us just how bad human beings are. Shame on you people.

put on a mask

I'm proud to be a Malaysian, even though it's stated at the right side bar that I'm Korean at heart :p There are so many things that comes with the M-package that I'd never change - we're always big on causes, no matter what and we have a lot of yummy food (that would definitely top my list any time). Ohh, and we're also very generous. Give, give, give all the time.

But there's one thing that makes me complain without fail. The people of this nation love to imitate other people. When Bollywood was HUGE, we followed suit. The telemovies shown were always including some sort of dancing and singing complete with the traditional Indian attire.

I should have known this one was coming, silly me was only focusing on the real K-pop scene (or rather the K-drama) that I wasn't really thinking about the 'mushrooms' back home. They popped out real fast, even the real mushrooms would be ashamed :p

Actually, I'm the one ashamed when I watched these vidoes..how can they do this to me? Why o why?
I'm gonna pack my bag and migrate to Korea this instance while wearing face mask.

freaky

last night i went to the Malam Pertabalan Srikandi for our own Tun Fatimah college, which is our residential block. and that's because it was the last event conducted by the current batch of committee, just as it was the last event i attend before having to rent outside next semester.

there was only a handful that attended, the others went home for the weekends and had other events to attend at the same time. it was nothing out of the ordinary..similar like the other events before this. but suddenly there was strong wind blowing a whole lot of dried leaves towards us and we started to panic. it was certainly not normal.

picture googled
then it rained and the tents started to look like they were getting to be blown off. we even shrieked at one point. my friend wanted to go back, but the rain kept on pouring. all that was on our mind was the Jasin tragedy. it was hair-raising. thank God nothing happened.

FIRE!

it was dark when i woke up to the commotion, and i had to quickly find my bearings. my roommate was agitated and i only heard the word "FIRE! FIRE!" being shouted above all the noise.

picture googled
then i spotted smoke outside my room when i was at the door jamb. i could only think of getting my purse before getting out. my roommate saw what i was doing, and she grabbed her laptop before running after me. we were among the first group of people that arrived at the designated place, which was the badminton court beside the block. then my friends arrived and we stood in the middle of the court. i didn't know what made me turn my head, but that was how i noticed there was something burning in the middle of the carpark 100 metres away from us. that was the thing that made me realize it was just a fire drill.

my knees were shaking so hard i had to take a few steps to make them stop. God knows how i nearly cried because of the experience. they were all so real and it was the best fire drill i've ever had. seriously, the smoke made me believed that there was a real fire going on.

this happened at 2 in the morning last Monday, and the following day was a real tiring day. i couldn't even function properly, and could sleep after a few words of the novel i'm reading.

possessed

we've only got to the middle of the second week for this semester, and already, some 'things' happened. around half past 11 last night, me and my roommate were in our room..i was getting ready to sleep (since i had lots of late nights before that) when we heard a commotion. well, several of them to be precise. we looked at each other and rolled our eyes. girls - there'd be excitement even because of the smallest thing happened. then we continued to do our own thing. i did my bedtime reading and waited for my eyes to be sleepy (blame myself for doing nothing but sleep all afternoon).

suddenly we heard footsteps running outside, like they were running for their lives and then they knocked (more like pounded) on our door. i think if we opened the door a few minutes later, there'll only be the door frame left and no door :p. my roommate went to open the door coz she was nearer, and she hesitated before opening it.

they turned out to be our former neighbors (when we resided at the top of the building until last semester). they were incoherent and shaking, not to mention close to tears. after we tried to make them calm down a bit, they told us that one of the girls at their level were possessed. she was apparently crawling on all fours (like in the movie Ju-on) while screaming hysterically. we didn't actually hear those scary sounds, but according to the neighboring block..it sounded like the thing was running (but that wasn't the case). the screams came from everywhere.
maybe it was like this
or even scarier like this
pictures googled
we were too scared to do anything, and sit as quietly as we could. my roommate didn't even want to go to sleep in the dark and we kept the one of the lights on. we kept our eyes on the window and couldn't really sleep especially coz it was a warm night. i even imagined the thing crawling inside our room through our window..huhu. what a night.

and today, all the way to and fro the class, that was the only thing people talked about. all i heard today was "crawling, crawling..". seeessshh..talk about something funny please.
