I wasn't interested in watching Dream High at first..because Hyun Joong just made a few minutes' appearance. And I thought 2PM's Taecyeon is the main character because of the first episode.

Then when a friend asked if I already watched the series, and gushed about Jason and Kim Pil-sook..I started to continue from where I stopped much earlier.

Jason (2PM's Wooyoung) and Kim Pil-sook (IU) are a sweet couple. Oh Jason's so sweet when he saved Pil-sook from embarrassment when their schoolmate made fun of Pil-sook's skirt.
I can't forget the look on Jason's face when he first saw Pil-sook after the 200 days. "Long time no see"..ngeee.

You have to see for yourself the time when Pil-sook sang with Sam-dong in class, and Jason kept on smiling at Pil-sook when she sang. But when it's Sam-dong's turn, Jason will get irritated and kept on looking at him like telling him to shut up and let his favorite girl sing alone. *sigh* He'll be banned by every single dentist in the world :p
And there's the time when he went crazy in Japan after he thought Pil-sook is very ill.

I love all the songs they sang too..especially this one. I can listen to this over and over again.

it rained all day as all of u know, and i had the best snack for rainy days. mom fried nian gao (kuih bakul) with sweet potatoes and we had them with mugs of hot tea. yummy

i started to use thefaceshop pore minimizer controlling emulsion since a year ago, though there were a lot of occasions when i was too lazy to put it on before sleeping :p

i was encouraged after watching Glory of the Family. the stepmother in the drama always took care of her skin before sleeping, and so i have the urge of also to pat something light and not sticky on my face. since the brand is from Korea, it suits my preference. i'm partial to skin care from Korea, especially for being an Asian. Asian would understand Asian better, right.

and now i'm addicted to their mask sheet range. i've tried the Vita-E mask sheet, which is my current favorite.

and last night i tried the ceramide essential mask sheet - it's not up to my liking though with the watery solution.

can't wait to test the other masks i bought...
my preference towards this brand has nothing to do with Hyun-joong, but it's a bonus i guess ;)

i've watched Playful Kiss a.k.a Naughty Kiss a.k.a Mischievous Kiss with Kim Hyun-joong and Jeong So-min as the main couple. they took the part of Baek Seung-jo and Oh Ha-ni, respectively.

there would be nothing wrong with any drama with KHJ as the cast ;)

just that i think the drama is so similar to Goong a.k.a Princess Hours with the teddy bears at the end of each episode. There are other similarities too, like the girls always hung out in the classroom full of drawings, and the cute places they go to - Oh Gi-dong's noodle shop, the salon where Ha-ni's friend Joo-ri works at, etc. at times Oh Ha-ni's character is similar with Sin Chae-kyeong of Princess Hours too - the hairstyles, the weird school uniform (when Ha-ni helped to retrieve the canned drinks for a junior and Baek Seung-jo), her face expressions. maybe it's because both drama were directed by Hwang In-roi

all in all Playful Kiss is a beautiful drama. starting with Oh Ha-ni having a major crush on Baek Seung-jo, the best student in Parang high school and luck seems to be on Ha-ni's side by the time they were nearing graduation.

She and her dad moved in with Seung-jo's family. She's favored by Seung-jo's mother who helped to keep them together. Seung-jo's mother is an interesting character too, keeping tabs on her son while in disguise but was always found out and taking pictures of Seung-jo and Ha-ni.
