I'm making cameo appearances for now, after such long hiatus. Hopefully I can gather more time and things to tell soon. I'm definitely good at procrastinating - guilty much. You can also blame the ease of letting pictures speak for themselves by using Instagram, that made me opt to be lazy :p

I've just completed I do, I do starring Kim Seon ah and Lee Jang Woo. A refreshing one to watch after the sad drama I Miss You. I can't help but to laugh all the time.

today KBS World is airing the final episode of this Big drama..and I've only realized the significance now T___T

I haven't watched all the episodes..that is usual for me now. I will get only snippets of the stories. But one thing I clearly get from this Big story..it's definitely not easy to have a relationship with a younger guy.
There would have to be a lot of changes for both sides. One person needs to grow up for a bit, and the other needs to revisit her younger years :p

I would only listen to English and Korean songs, but I'm making an exception and starting to listen to Malay songs again after so long. It will take some time  for me to get used to it, since I know nothing of the new songs. Whenever people around me sing Malay songs..I would just sit there quietly coz I don't know any of those songs.
And maybe I should stop reading horoscopes..but they're too amusing to stop :p

Oh, I need to learn how to be more patient..but being patient is not in my blood, just like some people who don't like texting (because it's in their blood).

I'm currently watching The Rooftop Prince online - which is not what I ordered. I hate watching anything online, especially when it's something superb like this drama.

I was drawn to it because of Yoochun.

After I watched him in Miss Ripley, I wanted to watch more of his acting - he's quite a good actor. There are dramas in which the first episode or even few episodes after that would be so bland, they couldn't attract people to continue watching. The Rooftop Prince is nothing like that. It was downright funny, thanks to the Crown Prince and the trio.

lies and deception

It's been a while since I last mention about K-drama here, I couldn't even remember the last time. I finished watching Warrior Baek Dong-Soo a couple of days ago, after weeks of watching it..slowly.

Now it's Miss Ripley's turn. It's such a scary story about how bad someone can make up stories and pretend everything is real to others, when it's a sham. The saddest part (for me) was when both guys went to buy a ring for Jang Mi-ri and stumbled upon each other. The guys are different - Song Yoo-hyun (JYJ's Yoochun) is younger and shows his love for Jang Mi-ri in a sweet and innocent way, while Jang Myeong-hoon is more mature and very attentive.

too late

I was famished when I finished work a few hours ago, and started to have images of piping hot fried rice dancing in front on my eyes. It was after 10 at night, and I don't want to start taking supper - and turn it into a habit. I snuck glances at the place selling tomyam and fried dishes when I drove past it, but that's all.
And when I'm back at home I cooked instant noodles for myself..so much for not taking supper.

I was supposed to work the closing shift tonight, but my manager changed it so that I went in earlier and came back earlier too. Today was okay, because I get to look at several hot Korean guys. Usually those who came were just..Koreans. That fact alone already excites me, what happens when fine-looking guys showed up? Haha. Seriously, I said to my colleague..I can tell that this guy's Korean just by looking at his nose. His friend's kinda cute too..and they are all tall. The guy with the cute nose even bowed his head to me when I said 'kamsahamnida' to the group of guys. Wow, first time ever a Korean bowed his head to me. I bowed my head (slightly) back to him. But still, I'm feeling like a Korean myself after that. Stop dreaming and get back to work..haha.

The next group has several familiar faces, I think they're studying here. But there's one guy who looks like Hyun Bin, and today was my first time seeing him. Even his hairstyle looks something like Hyun Bin's in the photo below. If I was bold, I'd point that out to him :p "Do you realize you look like that famous actor?" Gosh, that sounds like a cheesy pick-up line. But he was always with his large group of friends, so that's a no-go. Hehe. Like I would say something like that to his face.

These days I met a lot of Koreans at work. Seriously. Every single day, there would be at least three Koreans coming in. I listened to their conversation to them talking just to be sure if they're really speaking Korean language. Yes, I'm guilty as charged. But no worries, I still don't understand much.

We are supposed to converse with the customers, being friendly and all. Those who know how much I'd talk, especially with strangers should have guessed what an 'easy' feat that is to me. But fret not, just speak some words in Korean language and I'll be rushing over to strike up a conversation with you. Lol. A few days before, two Korean guys came in and they talked about something. When I asked one of them about them being Korean and why they're here, the guy seemed happy that I'm very interested in K-drama and stuff. He wanted to talk more, but sadly there was a big Singaporean athlete team that poured in right at that moment. There goes my chance to talk, again.

Whenever there are Korean guys in our store, I'll point them out to my colleagues and then they'll be happy to wipe the tables nearby all day :p

I'll gladly stay longer at work for free after this..haha. Kidding.

But of course it's inevitable that every good thing will have something blergggh to accompany them. Today I met a person who acts like a know-it-all, pointing this and that to me. Like I've just started working yesterday. I've known those stuff you pointed out at me since Day 1, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I wouldn't mind it if that person is really great at work and is feeling helpful to a newbie like me (actually I'm no longer considered a newbie, someone new already came in..hehe). But when that person intended to boss me around, just because I'm a junior..and yet that person made a lot of mistakes - that just left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm just thankful I don't have to meet that person regularly.

Again, I met Koreans. This time I was able to recognize them by only taking one look - pro already? Haha. I'm not kidding you.

But there's also help from one of them. He asked for extra drizzle on his drink, but the way he said it made it easy to know he's Korean. He said, "more sh-yrup". Yes, as in more syrup. There's a big Korean flag stamped on his forehead already :p

That's the only thing that made working during the holidays bearable. The customers were doubly fussy, unlike during Christmas. And the congestion is making me dreading this coming Chinese New Year.

something old, something new

Actually it was last year's news..even though it happened merely hours ago.First thing's first..

Happy New Year Everyone :)

I met some Korean guys..and I'm totally ecstatic even though they're not celebs or anything. I think. A bunch of guys were standing around the leather couch in our outlet and I was clearing the table when one of them asked me if there's Wi-fi available. I answered him, but he said "andwae" to his friend. I was struck by lightning right then. Exagerating, of course. But I wanted to be sure, so I listened to a couple more words before I asked.."Are you Korean?" And the friend said "Yes". They spent a few hours going online I guess. What I can see from what they ordered is that they're very health conscious. Half of them ordered something with green tea..and everyone don't want any whipped cream. And when they were leaving I said "gamsahapnida" to them - the only Korean phrase I was able to utter. I should have said something else to them too..haish. Lost the chance already.

Now I'm imagining if only Hyun Joong or Wooyoung would come (in disguise, of course) and spend time here. Haha. Like they need to, or can do that.

If I wasn't working at that time I could have taken photos to show to my sister. She's feeling jealous when she heard I met the guys. Haha.

Then another four Koreans came in..some time after the first group left. I think this group is a family, and the guys don't look as good as the first group, so I didn't bother to converse with them. LOL. I was busy actually.

That's what's new. The old news - my feet hurt, again. And I was wincing every now and then when I stepped on the accelerator and brake. Thank God I wasn't driving a manual car. The usual half-hour journey took me an hour tonight. Lucky I decided not to buy ice cream, else it'll turn into a puddle of cream even before I reach home.

I love this day the most, even though it's been only what..a week? Okay, I love this day of all my working days to date. It wasn't a waste to go out real early to work and go back home later than I'm supposed to.

A little praise goes a looooooong way. All the stiffness in the arms, neck and feet went away like magic. Not. Haha. But it still makes me happy. Sometimes I do feel like throwing in the towel and just look for another kind of painful job. Especially when I'm assigned to the last shift like I mentioned before countless times. But it would not be easy to find people like them, awesome partners. So I'll try my hardest to grit my teeth and withstand the gale-force wind. Exaggerating, I know.

My feet hurt and I'm very sleepy. Besides I need to get up early tomorrow, I'll just watch Wooyoung dance for a bit and then hit the sack. Good night peeps.

I wasn't interested in watching Dream High at first..because Hyun Joong just made a few minutes' appearance. And I thought 2PM's Taecyeon is the main character because of the first episode.

Then when a friend asked if I already watched the series, and gushed about Jason and Kim Pil-sook..I started to continue from where I stopped much earlier.

Jason (2PM's Wooyoung) and Kim Pil-sook (IU) are a sweet couple. Oh Jason's so sweet when he saved Pil-sook from embarrassment when their schoolmate made fun of Pil-sook's skirt.
I can't forget the look on Jason's face when he first saw Pil-sook after the 200 days. "Long time no see"..ngeee.

You have to see for yourself the time when Pil-sook sang with Sam-dong in class, and Jason kept on smiling at Pil-sook when she sang. But when it's Sam-dong's turn, Jason will get irritated and kept on looking at him like telling him to shut up and let his favorite girl sing alone. *sigh* He'll be banned by every single dentist in the world :p
And there's the time when he went crazy in Japan after he thought Pil-sook is very ill.

I love all the songs they sang too..especially this one. I can listen to this over and over again.

If I didn't think of my sister that seldom gets to go to the movies, I would have missed watching this Sector 7.

But I'm glad I gave in to my sister. We scanned through the movies list before going up to the cinema, but I didn't think any would be nice enough to watch. And there, right before we got to the ticket counter we saw the poster. I saw Oh Ji-ho's name first and I thought, his name sounds like Korean and then I saw...Ha Ji-won's name on the left. Then I practically dragged my sister to the counter.

The movie was a good attempt and I think it was okay. But the creature was just a bit too Ultraman's-monster-looking in my opinion.

And Min Seok's character in the movie died too early. We were gushing at how cute he looked, and then he died -___-

I love this scene when they were trying hard to control the pressure and everything.

That was what me and my sister did yesterday, plus some serious take take take everything and pay.

I had a quick interview after lunch yesterday, easy to guess which industry I'm looking forward to step into - and another (this time a serious one) this weekend. I got a call and I thought it was for the quick interview yesterday, but no. I hope I'll do a great job talking that day.

Must.prepare.myself.and.the.documents.tomorrow.

I got butterflies right after the call. And ohh, I must brush up on those nonexistent-in-my-head vocabs I learnt all those years back. Wish me luck, I need them very much.

ready or not

I'd prefer to stay at home and do all the things I love than having to go out to work, who doesn't? But I'm keeping in mind that going out and be tired and angry doing work (so negative, I know :p), will get me on the plane to see the world. *Hoping and dreaming everyday*

Can't wait to head out somewhere with the cold, hard cash I earn myself.

But while waiting, I'm watching Dong Yi on DVD and Glory Jane twice weekly on KBS World. I don't quite understand why I'm always attracted to period dramas regardless of where it's from. I'm thinking of searching for Gone with the Wind movie and some other good stuff.

Should I make green as my blog theme? It seems like I'm very into green these days..haha.

Me and mom are always talking about how young the Korean actors look - they even look younger now compared to years back. We'd watch a recently-aired drama and figured out the protagonist or the second guy as an actor we've seen before (in another drama) and almost always they'll look younger than before.

And more handsome too. Just look at Park Si-hoo's photos. I didn't watch The Princess' Man because I just hate it when I can't follow every episode of any drama, and I was still in Lendu when it started.

But...yes, there is a but..I did watch the last two episodes. Just because he's too hard to resist. He looked phenomenal in his dark rebel getup and even won me over with the beard and traces of moustache he wore (I don't usually go for guys with that look) years after he 'died'.

it's okay

I watched It's okay, daddy's girl (Gwaenchanna, appa ttal) starring Moon Chae-won as the main character. The drama was okay, but the character Park Jeon-seok was really scary when he stalked Eun Chae-ryeong and did everything just to make her fall for him. He even paid a guy to scare her and planned to act as the 'hero'.

That started the problems in the drama.

I love the two guys in this drama (although there's a whole load of 'em cute guys) Kang Sung as Jeong Jin-goo and Choi Jin-hyeok as Choi Hyeok-gi.

I did not favor Jeong Jin-goo at first as he seemed to be some sort of a rich jerk who can't stop drooling at girls, and preferred Ae-ryeong (Chae-ryeong's unni) to get married to Dr.Hong (the one who treated their father). But as Jin-goo and Ae-ryeong started living together after their marriage, Jin-goo became a changed man and he made me fell for him :p He was very protective of Ae-ryeong and her family...and his sunny disposition is just addictive.

Choi Hyeok-gi, although different from Jin-goo..is attractive in his own way. He's an upright person and very attentive towards Chae-ryeong. He's always running towards her direction whenever she's in trouble and that made him so sweet.

I want them both <<<<<<< greedy :p

49 days is a drama about a girl who was pronounced brain dead by the doctor after an accident trying to come back to life by collecting three tears from people who love her.

Among the casts are Jo Hyeon-jae, Jeong Il-woo, and Nam Gyoo-ri (Seeya).

The story is great although some parts are already expected like the bad fiance and bad BFF. And the story has a twist unlike other love stories' endings - I hate that though. I'd rather watch another pretty average ending that brings smile to my face, than this one. I wanted Han Kang to end up with Sin Ji-hyeon. Like maybe killing Ji-hyeon's character first and then making Han Kang meeting someone who looks like Ji-hyeon few years later - okay, same old same old...I know. But the ending is no fun..hmmppphh.

I've been Yoon Eun-hye's fan ever since I saw her in Goong. She's so cute you're never gonna believe her real age :p

In her latest drama, Lie to me she acted along side Kang Ji-hwan and their chemistry is incomparable. They were very comfortable with each other and I just love seeing them together. Especially when Coffee House didn't turn out the way I wanted it to be - I want Ji-hwan to end up with cute Eun-jeong, and I wished for it real hard.

favourite place

I still love Seoul Garden for the all-you-can-eat BBQ and steamboat buffet, for the various types of marinated meat..but the last time I went there, I couldn't stuff much into myself anymore. Which is a pity, but now I found another alternative to keep my ongoing hunger for Korean food sated.

I went to Breeks cafe (under the same management as Seoul Garden) with my sister yesterday. She already ate bibimbap there once, and was really anxious for me to try it.

There were a lot of different dishes offered - including Western food and Korean. At first I couldn't quite decide what to have for lunch, but after browsing through the menu and reminding myself that I was there for anything Korean..I chose to have samgyetang. It is actually Chicken Soup with ginseng. I'm up for guk (soup) any time and I knew I'd like it when I first saw it (which I couldn't really remember when).

My sister still ordered dolsot bibimbap and it came in a huge bowl. The portion is really big.

My samgyetang was delicious as was the bibimbap and I can't wait to go for visits with my sister again. She's my partner in crime for anything Korean.

Ohh, this months-long sale is going to kill me. I keep on buying and buying things in bulk because they're so cheap. Somebody HELP me..

save me

I should save myself - next week is quite hectic and I think I'll have to stay up until early in the morning a lot. Last week, I started working part time with a friend. We only work on Wednesdays and Thursdays, we don't have to do much and most of the time we were bored to death..but the pay is good considering what little we have to do. Usually we'll start to pack up everything by half past 10 at night, but since there's a lot of 'obligations' waiting for me in the form of K-drama :p I'd stay up until morning and then be tired for class next day.

These boys are making me regretting being born in the 80s :p They're so cute. Yoo Seung-ho and Lee Hyun-woo acted in Master of Study. I recognize Seung-ho from Queen Seon-deok as the queen's nephew, but I couldn't quite place Hyun-woo's face although I've seen him in something. It turned out to be the same drama..he acted as little Kim Yu Sin, one of the Hwarang.

Next week we'll have a quiz and a test, I haven't even touch any books and I'm typing away happily here. I guess I'll have to sleep late again tonight and tomorrow night. How can I get flawless complexion at this rate? No wonder all those pimples are staying put and not budging.

remember

I'm still up at 4 in the morning (sounds like Gwen's song :p) with the fan on full-blast directly facing me even though it rained just now. I can't help but think of the time when I used to be awake during this hour often, it wasn't this tiring then. I'm getting old..haha.

I just finished watching Joo Ji-hoon in a movie. I didn't keep track of his acting career after Goong (as if I keep track of others'), but I'm disappointed when I notice that he only acted in two dramas and two movies. And I've watched both his movies, that leaves only one drama out. Actually I watched bits and pieces of his second drama on KBS World, but never got to finish it..I think he's sort of the antagonist in that one.

Antique involved Kim Jae Wook and lots of desserts. While in The Naked Kitchen, Ji-hoon acted alongside Sin Min-ah and he's so cute and cool I can't even describe it.
