another trait i hate

imagine being in a company of someone who brags constantly..would u be happy to listen while that same person pours out whatever's in his/her own heart? and that would of course means not once or twice, but the whole day if u're unlucky enough to wrongly chose to be in his/her company.
i had to unwillingly paste a smile on my own face and pretend to be delighted and interested in whatever the person's talking about..mostly of other ppl. let them do or in this case, buy whatever they want..who do u think u are? someone big and rich enough with money to outdo everyone else u encounter in ur life?
and u don't even know most of the brands of goods..when u thot urself of being a connoisseur of big-named brands like L***s ***tton. i think the truth is, he/she only recognizes that ONE brand only. when i mentioned about Christian Louboutin, nothing of recognition flickered in his/her eyes pun..so much of being a connoisseur. blerrggghhh!
that person would squint his/her eyes and point to whatever kind of bags that bore that particular logo of brand and ask bluntly, "is that the original thing?"
it's not like he/she owns anything from the brand..tolong la biar je org nk beli kat pasar mlm ke, wherever they bought that thing..original or not. it's not like in this country xde copied goods at all.
even if it's his/her own friend, he/she would be like piranha looking out for blood..or meat to chew on. if the friend said they bought this stuff or that stuff somewhere, but then the one who brags happened to come across a similar stuff somewhere else, like kedai biase with no brands..he/she would be in joy and said the friend's secret is out of the box already. what the?
and he/she even had the nerve to ask how much one spend for festive season..and then bragged that he/she would spend a few times more that everyone else.
i felt like strangling that person already. ala stakat nk blagak tnjuk kaya, i'm not impressed AT ALL. tolong la grow up. after i spent the day feeling like it's wasted for being in the wrong company, i felt like banging my head as hard as i could. how could i forget about the 'impressive' quality that particular person possess? i've known about it before, and i forgot..nice memory i've got, huh.
that totally dampen my day, and i hope i would remember next time not to go anywhere with that person..and of course not to buy anything in his/her presence.

lookalike

i'm not quite adjusted of Najib being the PM yet, i still think of him as a regular minister until now. okay, maybe the deputy PM. guess i've grown attached to Pak Lah, and i still need some time to make the transition.

but i love his idea of "1Malaysia". i'm all about unity and for everyone to think of us all as the Malaysian race, and not Chinese, or Indian or Malay or Sikh u get the idea..that's gonna be divine ;)

i love the new Astro ads, the one about the ppl's unity, which have the lady saying she can converse in English with foreign tourists and is able to converse with them and ask "what are you looking for?" "salted fish". i think the Indian guy is really cute when he speaks Cantonese. he said, "when he was at the mamak stalls, ppl looked at him when he speaks in Cantonese." What? An Indian can't learn to speak in other languages eyh? When ppl learn other languages like French, or Japanese, or Korean..others would be looking up to them. Why can't we do the same when others learn languages we can use everyday, when talking with our friends or neighbours. That would take us all into a whole new Malaysia. One nation that's proud of our own identity, colorful with all kinds of cultures and languages. I'm a proud Malaysian, but i would be even more proud..if we can upgrade ourselves.

Looking for someone who can speak Mandarin, Cantonese and Hokkien..i'm really thinking of learning those.

owh, i love the other ads too, about the kids with their ambitions. the boy in the field saying "saya mau buat rumah ini besar" haha..i laughed everytime i heard what he said. and the girl with ponytail who said "i want to explore/conquer every mountain on earth", looks a lot like my cousin.

short trip

it rained the whole morning yesterday..i sent my brother to Melaka sentral, sbb he told his friend to pick him up there, lucky diorg x decide nk suruh i drive all the way to tol A.Keroh..malas with hujan and all. after that i did a bit of shopping, smpat je eyh ;P weekend ni mmg keje shopping je. then straightaway kne pick up my youngest brother at his school pulak. da smpai sane baru la the rain stopped pouring. lpas rehat for a while..actually, lpas mengadap fb ;P i went to pick up my dad pulak. mmg chauffeur berjaya betul la.

then after lunch, off we went to kuantan sbb hntar brg2 my brother tu. his semester baru nk start balik. i rase unfair je, coz he started his holidays earlier than me, then abes lmbt pulak tu. tp UIA mmg mcm tu, coz cuti time lain mcm xde sgt. we arrived there around 6 kot, smpai je my brother ckp motor die xley nk start. apparently some parts were stolen, tmasuk la disc brake. since he already sent it to a mechanic, ktorg pun trus g cari hotel for that night.

then my brother nk ajak mkn dinner kat this one restaurant called 'wan tomyam' right across the street from our hotel, tapi x jadi. sbbnye da start drizzling ms tuh, n ktorg pun naik kete..trus die ajak g makan kat another place yg jauh sket. ktorg mkn kat tmpat name restoran & kafe Santai. smpai2 je i trus ske..the place mmg cantik. the owner renovated a house, tuka jadi restaurant tu. ngan bnyk lampu..sronok je tgk tmpat die. kat situ nk makan western food bley, order Thai food pun bley. die nye lamb chop, big portion..kenyang gler kot kalau mkn sorg. the price ley tahan murah jugak la..mcm2 ktorg order smpai penuh perut mkn 5 org, jz kne 90 plus je tmasuk tax. 1 je yg i nyesal, sbb x order three layer tea. mule2 cm teruja tgk diorg display picture tu, tetibe ley plak order air lain..nyesal x sudah x dpt rase..huhu. sbb nye da kenyang sgt, x larat nk masuk lagi.

mase ktorg mkn tuh, my brother nye friends pun rmai2 dtg mkn kat situ..agaknye sume budak2 sane da ngidam lpas lame cuti kot ;P

lpas tu baru la ktorg g amek motor, tp mase ktorg smpai tu die lum wat lagi..tpakse la ktorg tggu for a while. smpat la nmpk tikus2 besar yg main kejar2 kat tepi2 kedai tu..dlm gelap. huhu..geli i tgk tikus2 tu.

pagi ni lpas breakfast n angkut lagi barang2 my brother yg ade kat his old room, ktorg pun btolak balik Mlk..

great

it was really great today, coz i get to meet dee again ;) gosh i really miss her..even after meeting up. i guess i'll have to plan another time to meet her again soon.

i told her i would meet her at the entrance coz she carried a lot of stuff..but, i forgot my way in Midvalley. imagine that :P. yeah, i forgot the way to the commuter's entrance. then i thought i'd go find it through Jusco, and tried to find Orange Sorbet so i could go out there and meet her. seems that since the last time i've been there, i mean really been there..there were changes in Jusco..haha. so i lost my way for a few minutes and had to ask dee for the directions. i used to know where everythg is, but i guess it's been too long.

after loading the stuff dee carried in the car, we decided to have lunch. we thought of having laksa in Jusco, like the usual. we had that everytime we met in Midvalley. then, dee suggested we eat at Carl's Jr. we dunno whether to share or eat on our own. i'm glad we shared, coz the serving was really HUGE. we can't even finish everythg we ordered, which were double guacamole somethg somethg..couldn't rmmber the exact name ;P, beef chilli fries and chicken strips. we stuffed ourselves until we couldn't take it in anymore..next time there would have to be another person joining us, coz 2 person just can't eat everythg. the burger's alright, but i think the beef with the fries could use some makeover..it's not spicy enuff, just tasted like curry to me.

then we wandered around, trying on some stuff and bought some. we thought we'd wait for a while before we can eat again :P i know, what were we thinking? we were both looking forward to the laksa, and i thought i could grab some takoyaki..maybe next time.

owh, we browsed around for rings too..for dee, not for me. Wah Chan was having a big promotion, seems that you could get 60%+20% discount..check it out. and we looked around in Tomei too. but i don't think i like those rings too much, maybe it's just me coz i have different taste maybe? but dee said she prefers Habib's. i wish it would work out as planned and hoped, dear ;)

and i hope we could see each other again soon..
