if only he's here

My family had a great day today, spending time together..except for my youngest brother who's away at school. It would be perfect if he could come along.

We started our morning with breakfast of course, and then everyone scrambled to get ready for bowling. We went to MIBC in Ayer Keroh, and there were a lot other families already in action.

It was my first time to play bowling actually, as I was never interested in the game before. But since mom wanted all of us to play together, I thought it wouldn't hurt to learn how to play - for the future. And as was expected, most of the time the ball went into the gutter :p But surprisingly I got a strike for the last one. Yeay for me.

Then it was time for the Friday prayers, so dad and brother went to the nearest mosque while us girls 'waited' in Mydin MITC. As if we only waited there.

After the prayer ended, we moved on to AEON Bandaraya. I didn't get the SMS notification of J Card Members Day this time, so I didn't know that it's today. We were wondering why there were so many cars in the parking lot that it was full when we arrived, and had to park by the roadside.

First things first, so we had lunch at The Chicken Rice Shop. While waiting for the food to arrive, I bought Auntie Anne's pretzels and there was this promo of getting a third one if you buy two (only on J Card Day). Then I told mom that I wanted to share the plate of rice with my sister, but I ended up eating another portion too. *sigh* I'm still feeling the whole load of food in my stomach.

Finished with lunch, we went up to the 1st floor and went crazy in Padini, as there were 20% discount store wide on J Card Day. I waded through the shoe bin, searching for something that could be worn for the Dean List's lunch/dinner in two weeks. Then me and my sister gushed over practically each and every one of the headband. I really am headband crazy now. I didn't quite so much look at the clothes, as people were swarming and buzzing around them everywhere. Dad waited patiently for us while we went, "This one's pretty, this one's pretty too". The funny thing was he was still there looking at the accessories when we were finished and walked away to the counter. He looked at the shoes, necklaces, everything.. My dad is so adorable ;)

I wouldn't even describe Jusco, when everyone knows it looks like this every time without fail.

remember

I'm still up at 4 in the morning (sounds like Gwen's song :p) with the fan on full-blast directly facing me even though it rained just now. I can't help but think of the time when I used to be awake during this hour often, it wasn't this tiring then. I'm getting old..haha.

I just finished watching Joo Ji-hoon in a movie. I didn't keep track of his acting career after Goong (as if I keep track of others'), but I'm disappointed when I notice that he only acted in two dramas and two movies. And I've watched both his movies, that leaves only one drama out. Actually I watched bits and pieces of his second drama on KBS World, but never got to finish it..I think he's sort of the antagonist in that one.

Antique involved Kim Jae Wook and lots of desserts. While in The Naked Kitchen, Ji-hoon acted alongside Sin Min-ah and he's so cute and cool I can't even describe it.

Charlie Day 5

After being in contact with Charlie as written here, I didn't feel any pain..at least not right away. I think the wound started to throb later in Day 2. Then it became even more of a hassle to me - I couldn't let water fall on my face during shower anymore (it felt like pebbles being thrown on the wound) when it was my favorite thing to do, and I couldn't even squint my eyes (that hurts too). Then the wound turned bright red on Day 3, and I had to look down during class hoping that nobody would notice. Fortunately only a close friend of mine caught a glimpse. I think it's getting better slowly, although I couldn't stand the pain without dabbing on antibiotic cream. And I think I caught the culprit last night lounging on my pillow - no idea if it's the same one or not, though.

On another note, I've finished watching several K-drama - My Princess, Athena, Oh! My Lady and My Fair Lady. And I'm so in love with Song Seung-heon (Park Hae-yeong in My Princess) and Super Junior's Choi Si-won (Kim Joon-ho in Athena, and Seong Min-woo in Oh! My Lady).

The little girl, Ye Eun in Oh! My Lady is so cute.

Charlie

I woke up fine yesterday morning, but when I looked into the mirror while getting ready for class in the afternoon I was flabbergasted when I saw my left eye had some sort of red mark surrounding it. When I asked my housemates, nobody seems to know the reason.

So I went to the clinic earlier today, and I found out I was bitten by this Charlie. I was horrified, as I've known about this awful insect for the past few years and I know that it would take some time before it heals. And it will leave some scars. Huhu..I hate that thing.

unveiling the history

My sister really put a lot of effort in convincing me to watch the movie X-Men: First Class with her. She said the casts would steal my breath away :p

Okay, so I agree with her. Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Alex (Lucas Till) do look good in the movie.

It's been a long time since I last watched James McAvoy in action. And the movie is actually a great one, even in my opinion (one who prefers other genres). Maybe because they took great care in including all the appropriate emotions at the right time. Last of all, I was deeply touched by Magneto..when he only let go, after knowing there's no other way for them.

I've been obsessing about headbands ever since I watched the drama My Princess starring Kim Tae Hee and Song Seong Heon. Everything the princess wore looks adorably sweet. All day I moved from shop to shop drooling after headbands..I really felt like buying 'em all, if only I have 10 heads to wear them all at once. Haha.

Another one that got me drooling was the Mexican coffee bun, when I watched the drama My Fair Lady starring Yoon Eun Hye, Yoon Sang hyun and Jung Il Woo.It's been years since I last craved for the bun.

There was Rotiboy in the drama, and I just found out that it originated from Penang. I was thinking that maybe some other language probably used the word roti for bread too, like us. But it really is a Malaysian product, I'm so proud to know that ;)
